Drastic News...

Hey bloggers... Today I bring you all some unfortunate news for our project Forsaken. Our guest actor, Ryan, who has been trying to portray the role of Bobby, sadly won’t be able to continue with us. Due to scheduling conflicts, he won’t be available for our Day 2 reshoots. This is indeed a VERY problematic setback, as Ryan’s acting added something truly special to this character and the entire film opener. Moreover, we are also sad to announce that we will not add Bobby into this movie opener, so disregard all of the character development we at Cinemarcus Productions showed in previous blog posts. We understand the disappointment this may cause and we are very sorry for this news.

In light of this, we’ve also decided to take a step back and redo the entirety of the film opener. After reviewing the unedited footage from Day 1, it became clear that it didn’t meet the expectations we wanted and the tone we had envisioned. Reshooting this also feels like starting over in many ways, and it’s not without a sense of loss for the work we’ve already done. Even if it means facing these challenges head-on, we know that starting fresh isn’t easy. We firmly believe that it’s the right decision to do this because it helps ensure we’re telling the story in the best way possible.
