Sound in Forsaken

Greetings, Bloggers! Today we at Cinemarcus Productions are thrilled to announce the types of unique sound designs we are planning to use for our film opener Forsaken! Our sound choices are not just about creating a realistic environment for you guys, but are also about improving this drama while engaging our audience! So join us today as we undergo the sound used in Forsaken!

When considering the sound design for this project, we have a lot of creative ideas to put in the film opener since we intended to produce a drama! For the most part, many of the sounds in this film opener are basically from the natural environments inside and outside the mall. While they haven't been incorporated yet, I plan to add a few non man-made sounds into the film.

Specifically, I aim to include more environmental sounds at the beginning of the opener along with background crowd sound effects for most of the scenes set in the mall, and slurping and eating sounds in the cafeteria. Additionally, all other diegetic sounds we plan to include can be captured by our cameras as we film our performances.

Regarding the non-diegetic sounds or sounds that the audience alone will hear, we intend to include music throughout the majority of the film opener! In most parts of the film opener, we plan to have cheerful music playing while the characters navigate the mall. As for the actual sound editing process, we have not started editing Forsaken yet mainly because there are still very important scenes that need to be filmed!

But since my partners Justin and Alexander and I will be involved in the editing, we actually have already decided that the sound along with the overall editing, will especially be managed using the Premiere Pro app and other mobile editing apps like iMovie for example. We hope to use copyrighted music mostly, however, if that doesn't work out, all music we ultimately use will be copyright-free, and using copyright-free music isn't necessarily a poor choice! For this reason, we will as well use sound effects mainly from Youtube, but the following websites are going to be used as well:
